I just couldn't bear it any longer. I am too old to be adaptable. Wordpress (where the bulk of the Freeattle stuff is) and I just never hit it off. Squarespace is what I know and like, so I packed up the wagon and hustled the Freeattle site over to Fresh-Picked Seattle.

So this little calendar outpost is no longer needed as it's all housed together on the new pages.
If you have a link to Freeattle.com, it should still work. If you are linked to Freeattle.wordpress.com, just snip out that "wordpress." and you will be all updated.
If you subscribe, you can now subscribe to either Freeattle.com or FreshPickedSeattle.com/freeattle and you will just get the feed of the Freeattle posts (will not include the Fresh-Picked food events stuff).
Hope you like the new look. My recent redesign of Fresh-Picked Seattle will (I hope) be freeing up more time for me to focus on bringing you even more fun free stuff, reports from the free field (the frield, if you will), and other helpful stuff, so check back on the new site for more free fun.

Update 10/25/09: New! New!
The Freeattle Events Calendar now is color-coded by event type, like the Arts, Jobs & Career Development, Finance, Heath & Fitness, Books & Writing, and more! Click the down arrow on the right top corner of the calendar (next to the Agenda tab) to see the key. If you would like to see just one (or more) particular topics, uncheck the others to isolate the calendars you wish to see.
SEARCH EVENTS
Strangely, a Google calendar is hard to search. But there is a spreadsheet of the calendar here. You can use your browser's "Find in this page" function to search for a certain topic/keyword.
